I understand science just fine...and I understand what is, and isn't an unmeasurable, untestable, unobservable model..and can differentiate the difference and don't try to pretend that the latter represents actual reality.

Smart photons are all yours rocks...you made them up and you can't seem to stop talking about them..one of your early logical fallacies...an appeal to ridicule rather than actually argue in defense of your belief...you are the one who seems to think that inanimate objects must be intelligent in order to obey the laws of nature...rocks are smart enough to know that they must fall down when dropped...air is smart enough to know that it shouldn't try to rush into a punctured tire....water is smart enough to know to run downhill..and on and on....and in your world, photons must be smart to know not to move from cool to warm...interesting...and stupid...but, hey..that's you.

YOUR contention either requires smart photons or smart matter. Why don't YOU tell us which one it is? Why don't YOU explain the mechanism by which matter can control its emissions as you claim it does? Why don't YOU explain how it calculates the position of all the matter in the universe at some point in the future when it's emitted photons might strike. Why don't YOU explain how it routinely violates special relativity by possessing information about distant matter long before that information could have arrived?

Or you could just admit you're insane.

Yeah they harp on these "smart photons" insisting you invented them while this guy invented a new way to measure temperature increases of 1/100 of a degree by observing the ice cube melting rate with a soup bowl and a tidal gauge.

When reports started rolling in of incredibly high temperatures in the Arctic, several denier posters here denied it outright, claimed it was from a failed satellite or simply all lies. Those have been durable lies.

That "wavy jetstream" is also known as Rossby Waves. It is responsible for the cold Arctic air coming in to the US midwest and northeast that many deniers tried to use to claim the world was getting colder. As we have heard here, confirming what mainstream science has been telling us for some time, Rossby Waves are created by PLANETARY WARMING.
