A "great" live rock concert you have seen.

I saw Pink Floyd at the LA Sports Arena, around 1975. The bummer was Sheriff Gates had everyone searched for drugs and booze....but the good part was it never slowed us down once we were in.
Another fine one was Buffalo Springfield, at the Anaheim Convention Center around 1967.

Excellent! You were the right age at the right time to see all the bands I loved!

yea Meister is kind of an OLD FART....

I was lucky enough to see:

Kiss
Elvis
John Denver
and, The Eagles

All live. All but Elvis of course, were in their prime... All at the Cal Farley Colosseum in Amarillo Texas 1975, 76, 77 and 78. The 1977 Elvis concert was a couple of months before he died as I recall. My, was he ever fat, pasty and sweaty, but he could still sing.

Oops I forgot, saw Paul McCartney in 1991 I think, in Charlotte NC. I found out a few days later when I got home, that concert was broadcast live by Fox, my VCR got it because it was mis-programmed trying to tape a movie. The pyro during "Live and let Die" was awesome.

by whom ....when and where.....date can be approx........

I saw Queen with Thin Lizzy Opening,LA Forum 76.....became a Lizzy fan after that one...they FUCKING ROCKED the house down....but Queen survived

Have been to countless concerts but these stand out:

Pink Floyd - 1994 Division Bell Tour
Every Nine Inch Nails concert I've seen (4)
Fleetwood Mac - just a fun, fun concert
Kid Creole and the Coconuts - Everyone danced their asses off
Bruce Hornsby and the Range - an excellent performer
LCD Soundsystem - another dance your ass off night
Sublime (last tour before Bradley died)

Some of you people are so lucky. Floyd, Zeppelin, Queen..... AT THE LA FORUM IN THE 70s. MASS 1960s ROCK FESTIVALS?! That would've blown my mind. The millennium sucks. Oh well, I've still gotten to see some awesome stuff:

1) Iron Maiden Somewhere Back in Time Tour 2008 - It was the third time I saw Maiden live, but for the first time in my native country. They had never played anywhere nearby, so thousands of people all over Central America came to see them and it became some sort of huge national phenomenon (their plane was on the front cover of the newspapers, there were hundreds of people camping out in line for days before, etc etc). It was by far the biggest metal concert we had ever seen. 30,000 of us chanting- they were heard from MILES away. The setlist murdered. It was such a good time that they immediately put us on the third leg of the tour, and played again about a week ago. Must've been awesome, too.

2) Ozzfest 2005: Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Black Label Society, In Flames, Rob Zombie.
3) Ozzfest 2004: Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Slayer
4) Yes at M.S.G. in 2003
5) Kiss/Aerosmith at MSG in 2003

Yeah, yeah, so it's no woodstock, but you gotta work with what you get. idugsdiausokjgk.
