A decade of brexit driven pay cuts.

The English have no idea at what expense leaving the European Union will harm their economy. It has to rank as a massive blunder. It is like watching a car crash in slow motion.

They don't yet you somehow do?

LOL!

Poor, poor Tainted Tommy. The vote didn't go his (?) way and his knickers are all in a twist. Will he get over it? Will he take refuge in Brussels? Would Brussels have him? Have we no American Liberals who will share their home with him (?)?

Oh the pain!
Oh theanguish!
Oh the travail!
Oh the bullshit!

Before the EU, Britain was a worldwide empire.
Before the EU the UK was a basket case with a 3 day week and we were cap in hand to the IMF who ran our economy. You must be aware of that ?
Socialism sucks. No wonder every socialist nation in the world has a failed economy. Britain's experiment with socialism hurt them badly. Fortunately, they had Thatcher, amirite?
No, you are so wrong.
Show me a socialist nation with a thriving economy.
Certainly --- the world-wide "Nation of the One Percent" is socialist and thriving.

The world is in its present mess because we have socialism for the rich and "free enterprise" for the rest of us.

A country with 7% GDP growth and people think this is a slow down.
Nice try, but 1) China is communist and 2) they had to set up a special economic zone for capitalism. You don't really believe the Chinese allow capitalist enterprises all over the country, do you?

Ah, so which countries are Socialist then? Are there any?

China isn't Communist, by the way. It is run by the Communist Party, that doesn't make it Communist.

Your number 2 seems to suggest that you don't know what's happened in China in the last 20 or 30 years.

Do I believe the Chinese allow capitalist enterprises all over the country? Yes, I do. In fact I KNOW this is the case.

Seems to be the automated response of some people on the right. I've seen it so much it's getting ridiculous. People are talking about things seriously, and you come on with this nonsense.

None are completely socialist since it's an unworkable economic system.

What seems to work the best is a regulated capitalist system with a socialist safety net. That's what we have in the US and what most Euro countries have (even though many of them have a bigger "safety net").

Well Capitalism isn't a workable system either. No country is truly Capitalist, they all have regulation, all have restrictions etc. Wow. So....?

No. China is capitalism with some socialist elements still in place. There are privately owned production means and little worker rights.

Little worker rights? You're being overly optimistic there. Contracts are worth less than toilet paper, except to the companies who can take you for a ride whenever they feel like it.

China is doomed to fail because the people are not free and will, no doubt, resist the so-called Communist Party.
I don´t think so. The living standard is improving and we will see Chinese goods taking over our markets in the coming decades. While western traitor politicians refuse to work for their countries, calling such an agenda "evil protectionism", China rubs its hands.

I'll tell you what's going to happen. China's workforce is becoming increasingly educated. China is making weapons to match the US defense industry, it's catching up in many areas. The US isn't taking education seriously. China's producing robots who can do a lot of these jobs, and also learn a lot quicker and work a lot longer. Soon China will take over and the US can have the crappy low paid manufacturing jobs and will we the equivalent of China in the 2000s to the world, not so significant.

I think you're wrong. The people have enough freedom, and enough hope.

If they can control the people well enough, and they start at the beginning through education, and control the media, and control the internet and control a lot of things, then the possibility is there. Yes, when a recession hits and people start losing jobs and unemployment rises to high levels, then maybe there'll be problems like 1989, but most people don't know what happened in 1989... so....

But then again the Chinese are looking at Democracy, Brexit, Trump getting elected, and thinking that not having democracy isn't such a bad thing.

An incident was in the news. The workers of a Japanese factory took the bosses as hostages. They were treated like shit. They had two resp. five minutes for the toilet for example. The first "violation" cost a fee that looked very low but was very high for the workers. The second "violation" means they are fired.
There are videos of minors going into factories, for example a display factory. Pictures of terribly wounded minors on construction sites.
Homeless minors captured and forced to farm in World of Warcraft for a dish of rice per day.

No, you are right. It was very optimistic.

People even love to watch a TV show where prisoners are interviewed ahead of their execution.

Many schools have military drill. Partly even literally. Also common in South Korea. The strict rules benefit the average IQ that is very high in the region, anyway.

All university students do "military training", it's a joke of military training. Schools often do things to keep them as robots within a collective system.

Correct, because if you were following the conversation you'd know that socialism doesn't work as a national economic system.

Regulated or not, the primary economic system that works is capitalism, not socialism.

But then again it's not pure capitalism, is it? I mean there are plenty of socialized things in the US, infrastructure, the police, the armed forces etc etc. So...you're picking and choosing and then deciding it works based on your selective choosing.

The Guardian are reporting on an IFS report.

Paul Johnson, the thinktank’s director, said: “One cannot stress how extraordinary and dreadful that is, more than a decade without real earnings growth. We have certainly not seen a period remotely like it in the last 70 years and quite possibly the last 100.”

Its quite a chilling analysis of our future.

All of the predictions you tards have made so far have been complete and utter bullshit.

No, you ain´t. Britain´s economy bases on financial services and this is far from socialism. Also, Thatcher excelled in destroying Britain´s industrial economy.

Shows just how much you dont know as Britians economy was always based on heavy industry that the fat cats ran into the ground once it became nationalised. It is only VERY recently that we have relied on financial services to provide for our economy and we suffered a little less than most other nations because we still had some industry left. She streamlines our industry by getting rid of all the poorly ran and inefficient plants bringing down costs and hence prices
Look up how the industrial sector suffered under Thatcher.

I worked in it and saw it become streamlined and viable, the heart was put back into it and men went to work happy knowing they could rise by their own volition and not because the union man said they could. The decline in industry came well after this when the neo marxists handed full control to Brussels and sold out. They even sold all the gold and oil to Brussels at knock down prices they were that afraid of the unelected leaders of the EU

Red China is not at all socialist, nor communist for that matter but an autocratic one-party kleptocracy with a massive divide between the few very rich and a poor working class. It has a command economy under the control of ultra rich party members.

Sounds just like your neo marxist utopian pipe dream, with you as one of the ultra rich. Keep on dreaming

It worked during 2 world wars and innumerable other conflicts didnt it. It is what made Britain great, and it only took the neo marxists 3 years to bring it all down
You simpleton. The Allies won both wars by working together. Britain would have been fucked on its own.

Now where could we apply that lesson today ?

Didnt see much from the allies after the Germans had over run them and it was left to little old Britain to pick up the pieces. Surrounded by sea and very little trade and we still held out, unlike the Scots and Irish who sold out and I believe the Welsh were ready to do a deal with Germany so we were fighting against traitors as well
Even for a loon like you that is breathtaking.

Dont even know about your own people and their treason during WW2...................figures
