Post-Brexit border rules, due to come into force on 30 April, will require many meat, dairy and plant products from the EU to be physically checked at government border control posts (BCPs).

But trade bodies have said fresh confusion about when the checks would begin were “incredibly challenging” for business planning, while others said serious questions remained about the government’s readiness for the regime.

Oh dear. This brexit benefit has been cancelled again. I have no idea why a simple import tax has been postponed. This is the 6th time they have postpned.

How are we to appreciate the full benefits of brexit if we cancel the increse in prices due to brexit.
Brexit promised us a nirvana of low prices and lower taxes. When is this going to happen ?
If only there was a large group of countries that we could trade with on a no tariff terms?

It has to come. Sooner rather than later.I think the adults are ready to see it get worse in order to make the next referendum a walk in. That isnt great but we cannot afford to fuck up this issue. (again)
