In a Republic, actually
“A new Opinium poll finds a clear majority of the British public now believes Brexit has been bad for the UK economy, has driven up prices in shops, and has hampered government attempts to control immigration.”

A failed, wrongheaded policy motivated by an unwarranted, racist fear of immigrants and immigration.

The news isn't that loads of people say this. The news is that something like 25% of Britons don't actually know it.

When you welcome millions of illegal muslim immigrants into Europe, its obviously not going to work out. They expected a glorious merging of cultures, instead they got rapes and riots. "Brexit" has nothing to do with their problems. Virtue signaling is what killed Europe, not Brexit.

Yep, Brexit had nothing to do with London's no-go Haji zones.

Because it's still being run by retarded wankers and overrun by animals

"Brexit" is one of those mysterious occurrences where a populace votes for something that is obviously absurd.
Americans voting for the duopoly each time is a similar phenomenon.

What's so absurd about regaining national sovereignty, from an overbearing money-sucking confederation?
Nothing is more absurd than thinking that in the modern world and all its interconnectedness that "national sovereignty" has any meaning similar to the age of empires.

This has little to do with Brexit, plenty to do with the U.K (just like Canada).

Isn't that what they said about being in the EU?

Americans can learn something from the Brexit debacle – that basing immigration policy on an unwarranted, nativist fear of immigrants along with ignorance, racism, bigotry, and hate will ultimately fail.

That policies based on isolationist, ultra-nationalist ‘America first’ dogma will ultimately fail.

And that policies based on hostility to positive, beneficial change, diversity, and inclusion will ultimately fail.

Brexit was to keep the daarkies out and now we have more than ever.
It was really about deregulation. The elites being able to do what they want.
And now our rivers are full of shit.
Nothing has worked and we are a ruined country. Fucking shite,

I love how right wing Americans, the most fucked up nation in the first world, are constantly telling the rest of the first world how we're doing it all wrong, while your nation is in the toilet with the water swirling.

40 years of right wing media lies and bullshit about women, immigrants and God and the result is the current right wing voter. A guy who is prepared to hand the nation over to a criminal conman to be dictator for life.

The difference being that the duopoly in the US is based on the electoral system. People can't figure out how to change it without handing their opponents everything they want.

Brexit was just ignorance being thrown at people for three decades, telling them how bad the EU was, without telling them how bad the UK was.
