With 588 days left until Joe Biden is sworn in as President, this is a good time to look forward.
His first 100 days will primarily be devoted to undoing the harm done by the current "President" and restoring us to the glory days of President Obama. Most of this will be accomplished by executive order undoing the many disastrous executive orders of the current "President."
On occasion though, President Biden will have to declare National Emergencies, as did the current "President" to restore America to its greatness.
It will take nowhere 100 days for President Biden to reverse the disastrous Current "President," and get us back on the right path. During the transition period after winning the election, Biden's staff and aids will be drafting the necessary orders for him to sign immediately after being sworn in.
We also should look at the legacy the current President, overwhelmingly supported by the Republican party leaves in his wake. No longer will Democrats have to listen to Republicans bemoaning the massive national debt we face. They and THEIR President gave this to us with their uncompromising policies of over the top spending and tax relief for the wealthy. Correcting this will be near the top of President Biden's list of must do's. He will save millions each week by cancelling Presidential golf trips. And, we will have a working President, not one who sits in front of the tv all day and then golfs on weekends while selling country club memberships.
As President Biden puts Putin and Kim and Saudi Arabia back in their proper places, we will again gain the respect and admiration of our allies. There will be more threats to pull us out of NATO. Tariffs on China and Mexico will go away. And, thankfully, we will hear no more about the Republican holy grail, the southern border wall. That idea was nothing more than an effort to prevent Democrat voters from arriving from South America.
He will also address the urgent need to rejoin the Paris Climate Change Agreement. Taking America out of this agreement was one of the current "President's" most egregious acts. He will also quickly reverse another of the current "President's" worst acts, cancelling America's participation in the Iran Nuclear Treaty.
Yes, President Biden will have a lot on his pate on January 20, 2021, but most of the orders will be written during transition and awaiting his signature It won't take him long to "Make America Great Again!!!"
