Maybe if you require only certain classes of firearms to come under that licensing in order to purchase them, own them or even sell them. At this point, our opinions begin to differ greatly.

Licensing is a revenue scheme and it is also just another way to infringe on the Right to bear arms......since it costs money.

Democrats tried to use fees for voting, Poll Taxes, to prevent Blacks from voting.... you want to use licensing fees to prevent the poor and minorities from owning guns...that won't fly....

And those same Democrats who are now Republicans now play games with the polls even today. Are you aware that in the Red areas, they shut down polls in predominately blue pockets so the blue voters have to travel farther to vote? They did that here and this isn't the south. Now, we have to travel 3 miles to go to a poll area instead of going right down the street. They shut down 6 polling places all in blue pockets. All of the red pockets stayed. And in Texas, they are having to rezone because when the Republicans gained control, they changed all the Voting Zones to ensure they would remain in control for decades. They were right. The Courts say they were wrong. These are not things that are made up or suspected. These are real things happening today.

I don't want to license handguns or hunting rifles or shotguns. But others that are considered over the top seem to be the major problem and those need to be dealt with. And they slowly are being dealt with. No matter how much you squeal like a little piggy you can't change that fact.
