Didn't the Right say that "climate change" is a NEW term coined just recently because global warming allegedly ended 12 years ago?

Unlike you, these people are very intelligent and well educated in the very disciplines relevant to the subject.^ Great cut and paste. You got anything besides what someone else says?
Didn't the Right say that "climate change" is a NEW term coined just recently because global warming allegedly ended 12 years ago?
Who claimed global warming ended 12 years ago?
And you are a dunce, playing stupid...

The term “ global warming hiatus” is a bit of a misnomer. It refers to a period of slower surface warming in the wake of the 1997-98 super El Niño compared to the previous decades. However, make no mistake, the globe’s average temperature has still risen over that period (including record heat in 2014) and temperatures now are the hottest they’ve been since recordkeeping began in the 1880s. So let’s call it what it really is: a slowdown, not a disappearance of global warming.

The new findings show that even the concept of the slowdown could be overstated.
“There is no slowdown in global warming,” Russell Vose, the head of the climate science division at the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI), said. “Or stated differently, the trend over the past decade and half is in line with the trend since 1950.
No Pause in Global Warming

Does the period from 1998 to 2015 look cooler or the same as the period from 1983 to 1998? And how about the last three years? Or even the last four months? See that spike? We are entering a weak La Nina, that is a real anomaly. It should not be there by all of our previous experiance.
Human Impacts on Climate
The Earth's climate is now clearly out of balance and is warming. Many components of the climate system--including the temperatures of the atmosphere, land and ocean, the extent of sea ice and mountain glaciers, the sea level, the distribution of precipitation, and the length of seasons--are now changing at rates and in patterns that are not natural and are best explained by the increased atmospheric abundances of greenhouse gases and aerosols generated by human activity during the 20th century. Global average surface temperatures increased on average by about 0.6°C over the period 1956--2006.
As of 2006, eleven of the previous twelve years were warmer than any others since 1850. The observed rapid retreat of Arctic sea ice is expected to continue and lead to the disappearance of summertime ice within this century. Evidence from most oceans and all continents except Antarctica shows warming attributable to human activities. Recent changes in many physical and biological systems are linked with this regional climate change. A sustained research effort, involving many AGU members and summarized in the 2007 assessments of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, continues to improve our scientific understanding of the climate.
During recent millennia of relatively stable climate, civilization became established and populations have grown rapidly. In the next 50 years, even the lower limit of impending climate change--an additional global mean warming of 1°C above the last decade--is far beyond the range of climate variability experienced during the past thousand years and poses global problems in planning for and adapting to it. Warming greater than 2°C above 19th century levels is projected to be disruptive, reducing global agricultural productivity, causing widespread loss of biodiversity, and--if sustained over centuries--melting much of the Greenland ice sheet with ensuing rise in sea level of several meters. If this 2°C warming is to be avoided, then our net annual emissions of CO2must be reduced by more than 50 percent within this century. With such projections, there are many sources of scientific uncertainty, but none are known that could make the impact of climate change inconsequential. Given the uncertainty in climate projections, there can be surprises that may cause more dramatic disruptions than anticipated from the most probable model projections.
American Geophysical Union Revises Position On Climate Change
The American Geophysical Society's statement on global warming. Unequivocal statement. The AGU has more climate scientists among it's members than any other Scientific Society in the world. But you ignoramouses think that you know more than these scientists. And most of your yammering is based on the rants of an obese junky on the AM radio, or the spews of a fake British Lord. LOL
Yup!
A group of 1,700 scientists and experts signed a letter 25 years ago warning of massive ecological and societal collapse if nothing was done to curb overpopulation, pollution and, ultimately, the capitalist society in which we live today.
New York Magazine writer David Wallace-Wells
I'm sure the world IS headed towards a global catastrophe. They just have their timing off by a few Billion years.
Judith curry, the rest are paid off hacks
Judith curry, the rest are paid off hacks
In Bizzarro Universe, where everything is the opposite of our reality, that's true. However, in this universe, Curry is a paid shill, while the climate scientists are honest.
She also gets every fact wrong. However, to denier cultists, Curry getting every single thing wrong gives her more credibility, because their cult worships failure. If someone doesn't fail completely, deniers cast them out of the cult.
Didn't the Right say that "climate change" is a NEW term coined just recently because global warming allegedly ended 12 years ago?
Yup!
Nope. Scientists have been correctly predicting warming for over 40 years now. Only denier liars pretend otherwise. Even in the 1970s, most scientists were predicting warming.
In contrast, almost all deniers have been and are still predicting an ice age. Denialism is an Ice Age Cult. That promised ice age never arrives, but that inconvenient fact doesn't bother them. The denier cult says the HolyIceAge will arrive RealSoonNow, so all deniers have faith.

No, they didn't rant about politics. Only you do that, because you're a political cult acolyte, along with all the other deniers.
New York Magazine writer David Wallace-Wells
My God, you mean _the_ David Wallace-Wells?
Couldn't find any actual scientists, eh kook? You had to grab a journalist that nobody has heard of, because all the science says you're just making crap up.
Anyways, shouldn't you be on your knees praying to your IceAgeGod along with all the other denier cultists?
