No, but there was truth in that for two weeks, the CIA was informing the White House and the State Department that the video caused a riot. Obama, Hillary, Rice, etal, were not lying when they attributed the attack to the video during those 2 weeks.

You do understand that these spectacles are not real debates so they are not judged based on rules of debating. Some people are looking for the gotcha one liner such as, "I served with Jack Kennedy. I knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy". Others are looking for accuracy, presentation, poise, or how closely the candidate's answers match their own belief. Some people are so sold on their candidate that they've made their mind up before the debate starts. People were so disturbed by Nixon sweating in the debate against Kennedy, that he was dubbed the loser with little regard for what he said.

Trump's problem in all the debates is he's unprepared. He diverts and delivers campaign rhetoric with little regard for the question. This is understandable because he doesn't understand the issues enough to discuss them so he has to fall back on accusations and the same rhetoric he delivers at rallies.

Now that the Supreme Court has ruled that citizens can apply to have state lines redrawn by geography, not party, by 2020, you'll have no way to retain the House or the Senate. That's assuming the Republican Party even exists as a force in US politics after this election.
