15 Questions for Weisselberg, CFO Trump, Inc

If Donald Trump's version of crony-capitalism isn't sufficiently scandalous to convince millions of voters (and especially non-voters) a new political economy is necessary here, I don't believe Democracy has much of a future in the US (and even less in Russia and China)

How conservative Republicans cut IRS funding to ensure rich people pay less taxes

For much of the last decade, the Republican Party has branded itself as a champion of fiscal responsibility and the rule of law — while doing everything in its power to help rich people steal from the Treasury.

Instead, the working poor are victimized by government's intense scrutiny associated with the Earned Income Tax Credit.

The 1% who have gained 270% since 1979 while the 99% have advanced no where, are not "normal people."

Republicans won't watch this. They do not want to know just how bad they are being screwed by their own party, and some Democrats.

I'm of the opinion those top 1% of the 1% could care less about reps, dems, left, or right.....as long as they're all fighting w/each other ~S~

Exactly! They are playing off the same script as the Roman Emperors; "give the people bread and circus." In the meantime, they slip out the back door with the cash.

"Yes, the titans gather once again in the high reaches of Davos, Switzerland, to look down at the ants that creepeth upon the ground.

"Wait!

"Are those people??

"Yes, I believe they are!

"They only LOOK like ants from up here!

"The masters of the universe are concerned that the economic forces they have set in motion may indeed be crushing a rather broad swath of those people that scurrieth below.

"There seems to be some concern about the 'bottom 60 percent.'

"Oh, them."

I suspect the richest of the rich (0.1% and above) would not exist without war and debt-based currencies.

If so, I don't think "choosing" between Republican or Democrat will make much difference to 90% of US voters.

Five big things Mueller is looking at

"The Cohen revelations aren't the first indication that Mr Mueller has been "zeroing in" on Mr Trump's business empire - something the president once said would be a red line the special counsel shouldn't cross.

"Taken with other reports, however - including that US attorneys in Manhattan have given immunity to long-time Trump Organization accountant Allen Weisselberg - it's clear evidence that the Trump business empire is directly under the microscope."

Trump is currently subject to 17 different investigations all of which involve specific allegations of criminal or civil crimes, like this one involving Allen Weisselberg:

Fifteen Questions for Allen Weisselberg, the C.F.O. of the Trump Organization

"In the audio tape of Michael Cohen and Donald Trump discussing the payment of hush money to Karen McDougal,

"Cohen told Trump, 'I’ve spoken to Allen Weisselberg about how to set the whole thing up.'

"This seems to refer to the setting up of an anonymous shell company for the purposes of secretly sending a payment without any link to Trump.

"What advice did you give Cohen about setting this up?

"—Was setting up anonymous shell companies a regular practice of yours or of the Trump Organization?

"Have you set up other anonymous shell companies for Trump?

"If so, what are their names? What were their purposes?

Are you seriously doubting the fact that Trump has been a mob-connected con man and grifter for all his adult life?
There is no crime involved here. As long as Trump paid the money from his own funds rather than campaign funds, it doesn't matter how many shell companies it passed through.

All campaign donations have to be reported, and Trump went to great lengths to cover his up.

That probably explain Cohen's guilty plea in this matter?

They have to be reported by the campaign, not by the donor, hence they are civil issues, not crimes.
Where did you get that idea?
BN-QW339_TRUMPU_GR_20161118120620.jpg
From life. Have you ever had to report a political donation? No, well, the same goes for the candidate. The campaign must report the donation, but not the candidate. In this case, whether the hush money was paid for personal reasons or political reasons is a matter of opinion, and even in the latter case, since it was not paid directly to the campaign, it is not even clear the campaign can be held responsible.

If Trump had bought a new suit during the campaign to make himself look better, would that have been a campaign contribution? Arguably, if he looked better it would help his campaign, so should it be reported as a campaign donation? How about haircuts?

Why did Cohen plead guilty to payments intended to protect Trump's election chances?

Why hush money Michael Cohen paid Stormy Daniels was an illegal campaign donation

"Why are the hush money payments considered illegal campaign contributions?

'Because Cohen admitted that the payments were intended to protect Trump's election chances, they are deemed to be in-kind contributions to the Trump campaign.

"They exceed the donation limits, a violation, and neither was included in campaign finance reports, another violation.

"Why are they considered corporate contributions if Cohen arranged the deals?

"Because in at least the case of the McDougal payoff, American Media Inc., the corporate parent of the National Enquirer, provided the money.

"Is Trump guilty of a crime related to this?

"He has not been charged.

"And it is unlikely he would be while in office given the Justice Department policy against charging sitting presidents.

"To win a case against Trump would require proving the standard of 'knowingly and willfully.'

"Trump has said in recent days he didn't know about the payments and described the Daniels case as a 'simple private transaction,' though Cohen says his former boss directed the payments."

The above quote was written 90 days ago.
Today we know Trump "knowingly and willfully" repaid Cohen for illegal campaign donations that Cohen has already pleaded guilty to.

If Cohen's guilty of these criminal campaign violations, so is Trump.

Today we know Trump "knowingly and willfully" repaid Cohen for illegal campaign donations that Cohen has already pleaded guilty to.

If Cohen's guilty of these criminal campaign violations, so is Trump.

And by the way, since this scam started before Trump was elected, he should be held criminally liable for that crime. And since the crime started before the election to influence the outcome, voters were denied their right to a free and fair election. Trump is not a legally elected president.

And don't forget, Trump was sued before he was president to pay $25 million dollars for a fake university, and paid the money. Why should he not pay for this crime, that happened before and after the election?

All campaign donations have to be reported, and Trump went to great lengths to cover his up.

That probably explain Cohen's guilty plea in this matter?

Last Thursday (2/28/19) the Daily Beast reported that Allen Weisselberg, the CFO of the Trump Organization, will soon testify before the House Intelligence Committee.

Weisselberg has been Trump's primary accountant since 1973.

Fifteen Questions for Allen Weisselberg, the C.F.O. of the Trump Organization

"To that end, here are the questions that I believe investigators and oversight-committee members might find worth asking.

—Can you please walk us through a detailed explanation of the Trump Organization’s finances, with verifiable numbers for the total income generated and total costs incurred?

"Please include each of its five-hundred-plus lines of business.

"Let’s start with the past ten years.

"—Can you please walk us through President Trump’s current assets and his current liabilities, and help us come to an accurate estimate of his current net worth and annual cash flow?"

MAGA!
Answer: "Shove your question/s up your ass. I'm taking the Fifth!"
Well naturally! What other alternative does this criminal have? Lock his sorry ass up.

Lock his criminal mafia ass up and throw away the key. He's a career criminal who needs to be in jail until he is dead.

Lol! Trump signed the checks agreeing to pay in installments. Trump paid in the end. That is a felony. How do we know? Cohen is going to prison for the crime. He admitted that it was all planned. It's the knowing and willingness that is a felony, and it has been proven. Don't believe me, look up the statute yourself. Trump will go to jail for it.
It's really a shame Mueller didn't have you to consult with on this issue. All he had were dozens of Justice Department lawyers to talk to and none of the seem to understand the law as well as you do.
Wow, didn't know you've been talking to Mueller to know what the lawyers know and don't know.
lol No charges were brought because Mueller and his team of Justice Department lawyers lack your keen insight into the law. Why haven't you told him they got it all wrong?
Have they? How do you know? Have you seen the report?
