15 Questions for Weisselberg, CFO Trump, Inc

What's your hurry?
600 days till election:

Five big things Mueller is looking at

"The Cohen revelations aren't the first indication that Mr Mueller has been "zeroing in" on Mr Trump's business empire - something the president once said would be a red line the special counsel shouldn't cross.

"Taken with other reports, however - including that US attorneys in Manhattan have given immunity to long-time Trump Organization accountant Allen Weisselberg - it's clear evidence that the Trump business empire is directly under the microscope."
Lol! Fantasy at it's finest.
Exactly how is it "fantasy?"

Well naturally! What other alternative does this criminal have? Lock his sorry ass up.

Where did you get that idea?

From life. Have you ever had to report a political donation? No, well, the same goes for the candidate. The campaign must report the donation, but not the candidate. In this case, whether the hush money was paid for personal reasons or political reasons is a matter of opinion, and even in the latter case, since it was not paid directly to the campaign, it is not even clear the campaign can be held responsible.

If Trump had bought a new suit during the campaign to make himself look better, would that have been a campaign contribution? Arguably, if he looked better it would help his campaign, so should it be reported as a campaign donation? How about haircuts?

Why did Cohen plead guilty to payments intended to protect Trump's election chances?

Why hush money Michael Cohen paid Stormy Daniels was an illegal campaign donation

"Why are the hush money payments considered illegal campaign contributions?

'Because Cohen admitted that the payments were intended to protect Trump's election chances, they are deemed to be in-kind contributions to the Trump campaign.

"They exceed the donation limits, a violation, and neither was included in campaign finance reports, another violation.

"Why are they considered corporate contributions if Cohen arranged the deals?

"Because in at least the case of the McDougal payoff, American Media Inc., the corporate parent of the National Enquirer, provided the money.

"Is Trump guilty of a crime related to this?

"He has not been charged.

"And it is unlikely he would be while in office given the Justice Department policy against charging sitting presidents.

"To win a case against Trump would require proving the standard of 'knowingly and willfully.'

"Trump has said in recent days he didn't know about the payments and described the Daniels case as a 'simple private transaction,' though Cohen says his former boss directed the payments."

The above quote was written 90 days ago.
Today we know Trump "knowingly and willfully" repaid Cohen for illegal campaign donations that Cohen has already pleaded guilty to.

If Cohen's guilty of these criminal campaign violations, so is Trump.

And by the way, since this scam started before Trump was elected, he should be held criminally liable for that crime. And since the crime started before the election to influence the outcome, voters were denied their right to a free and fair election. Trump is not a legally elected president.

And don't forget, Trump was sued before he was president to pay $25 million dollars for a fake university, and paid the money. Why should he not pay for this crime, that happened before and after the election?

Lock his criminal mafia ass up and throw away the key. He's a career criminal who needs to be in jail until he is dead.

They have to be reported by the campaign, not by the donor, hence they are civil issues, not crimes.

t
Lol! Trump signed the checks agreeing to pay in installments. Trump paid in the end. That is a felony. How do we know? Cohen is going to prison for the crime. He admitted that it was all planned. It's the knowing and willingness that is a felony, and it has been proven. Don't believe me, look up the statute yourself. Trump will go to jail for it.
It's really a shame Mueller didn't have you to consult with on this issue. All he had were dozens of Justice Department lawyers to talk to and none of the seem to understand the law as well as you do.
Wow, didn't know you've been talking to Mueller to know what the lawyers know and don't know.
lol No charges were brought because Mueller and his team of Justice Department lawyers lack your keen insight into the law. Why haven't you told him they got it all wrong?
Have they? How do you know? Have you seen the report?

Fifteen Questions for Allen Weisselberg, the C.F.O. of the Trump Organization

"In the audio tape of Michael Cohen and Donald Trump discussing the payment of hush money to Karen McDougal, Cohen told Trump, “I’ve spoken to Allen Weisselberg about how to set the whole thing up.”

"This seems to refer to the setting up of an anonymous shell company for the purposes of secretly sending a payment without any link to Trump.

"What advice did you give Cohen about setting this up?
tiestomob.jpg

"—Was setting up anonymous shell companies a regular practice of yours or of the Trump Organization?"

Will you SOB like a SNOWFLAKE when Trump goes to prison?

and this tape is going to snare Hannity for his lie, unless he is truthful to the house.

I hope AW doesn't plead the 5th, if so maybe his son is involved in some shady deals that Trump had made at Ladder Capital.

He was also on the board of the Miss Universe Organization.

"The Urgent Question of Trump and Money Laundering
"How Bruce Ohr, President Trump’s latest Twitter target, fits a suspicious pattern of behavior on Russia."

"Consider: The financially rickety Trump Organization, shunned by most mainstream banks, long relied on less scrupulous Russian investors. 'Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets,' Donald Trump Jr. said a decade ago. “We have all the funding we need out of Russia,” Eric Trump reportedly said in 2013.

"And what was the rare major bank to work with Trump? Deutsche Bank, which has a history of illegal Russian money laundering.''

Opinion | The Urgent Question of Trump and Money Laundering

Trump's infatuation with organized crime (and its fat profit margins) long preceded the fall of the Soviet Union. He is currently subject to 17 separate investigations, civil and criminal, and he will likely be in court for years after he's FLUSHED from "public service."

Another "we have him this time" thread? You must love being humiliated daily. Keep trying. Maybe try number 345,674 will actually yield something. Remember you better pay the higher Obozo tax rates and not the lower Trump rates or you're a hypocrite.

Apparently you haven't tackled the new tax law yet. Once again Trump lied, It is not simple, and it does not cut our taxes.

How conservative Republicans cut IRS funding to ensure rich people pay less taxes

The GOP Gutted the IRS — and the Rich Made Out Like Bandits

4-4-16tax-f4.png

"For much of the last decade, the Republican Party has branded itself as a champion of fiscal responsibility and the rule of law — while doing everything in its power to help rich people steal from the Treasury.

"Since taking Congress in 2011, the GOP has forced through a series of aggressive cuts to the Internal Revenue Service budget.

"Between 2010 and 2016, the number of individual tax returns filed in the U.S. increased by 7 percent, while IRS funding fell by 18 percent.

"That funding cut was exorbitantly expensive.

"Every $1 the government spends on enforcing tax compliance, it gets $6 back in recovered revenue, according to Treasury Department estimates."

Frankly, the IRS doesn't need staff (with guns) to terrorize normal people. It's good to cut their ranks after their hideous abuse of power towards the Tea Party movement.

When the IRS cuts its staff, it no longer has the resources to go after rich parasites (like Trump). The tax burden shifts from those who report their income and those who work for a wage or salary. Meanwhile the parasites use shell companies to hide assets knowing all the while the IRS has no ability to conduct the sort of massive, long-term investigations required to root out rich tax cheats. Instead, the working poor are victimized by government's intense scrutiny associated with the Earned Income Tax Credit.

There are only about 160K people with wealth greater than $25M in the U.S. That's a ratio of 4:1 compared to the IRS employee base. They have plenty of resources to harass the Evul Rich people.

What percentage of IRS employees are criminal investigators?

Demonizing the IRS to Protect Tax Evaders

"In the last fiscal year, fewer than about 1,200 prosecutions for tax crimes were initiated, according to government data analyzed by Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse.

"From 2010 to 2015, the number of IRS criminal investigators was cut 16 percent to 2,319, while overall the IRS lost a fifth of its workforce.

"Americans file about 150 million individual tax returns, corporations another six million.

"That means the Justice Department obtains about one indictment for every 100,000 tax returns.

"And many of those cases are where tax law is an easy way to prosecute drug dealers and politicians who took bribes."

If there are 160,000 US taxpayers worth more than $25 million, and only about 2300 criminal investigators, how is it possible to prosecute all the Evul Rich People.

And then there are those six million corporate returns to scrutinize.

Instead of an ARMY of ideologically bent IRS agents plaguing the nation, how about we just simplify the tax code so that people can understand it. The IRS cannot even consistently interpret the regs, so calling people criminals for being confused is just a Totalitarian intimidation tactic. I understand how that appeals to you, but to the rest of us, not so much.

Exactly how is it "fantasy?"

"Trump also had a habit of selling real estate to Russiansi n all-cash deals.

"Money launderers like such deals, because they can turn illegally earned cash into a legitimate asset, usually at an inflated price that rewards the seller for the risk.

"One especially dubious deal was Trump’s $95 million sale of a Palm Beach house to a Russian magnate in 2008 — during the housing bust, only four years after Trump had bought the house for $41 million."

"Donald Trump and the mansion that no one wanted. Then came a Russian fertilizer king

"Since the allegations about Donald Trump’s business connections to Russia started to fly last year in the middle of his presidential campaign, the fog of political war has made it difficult to tell the real from the shadow.

"Except for one very visible landmark: a sprawling, rococo seaside mansion in Palm Beach that Trump himself liked to boast about as an example of his real-estate acumen...."

"'What do I have to do with Russia?' he replied to reporters’ questions at a press conference in Doral last summer. 'You know the closest I came to Russia, I bought a house a number of years ago in Palm Beach … for $40 million, and I sold it to a Russian for $100 million.'"

Selling your house is against the law now. lmao. Pure BS.

Selling you house for twice what you paid for it four years earlier often suggests money laundering, especially for a career con man like the Red Don:

"A leading Senate Democrat has called on the Treasury Department to turn over banking and real estate records related to Donald Trump’s 2008 sale of a six-acre Palm Beach estate to a Russian billionaire – a real estate flip that yielded Trump $95 million after paying $41 million for the property just four years earlier."
