It would tick me off if my graduation was combined with 4 other schools as they did to accommodate this speech.

The school district tells ABC most of the response has been positive, and that critics’ main concerns have to do with seating and changing the time of day for schools’ ceremonies to combine them — although a few have called because they just don’t like the first lady, or the president.

I can understand their frustration, as long as it is not racist in nature.

The lack of seating means that many family members and friends cannot attend. I would have hated it if I had to miss any of my children's graduations. It sounds to me like having their loved ones at their graduation means more to the students than having Michelle Obama.
