No, not at all. I am sure that his intentions and those that support him come from a good place.
The problem is, folks that seriously study economics and how government works know, that creating a huge government only leads to the opposite results that these. . . so-called socialists desire.
I find it really ironic that a lot of folks on the left, (and some on the right,) that ***** about the ills of society don't realize that most of those ills can be traced back to government.
I read the other day, that now he wants to raise property taxes. The end result of that will have a two fold affect on the price of rent, which in his campaign, he promised to lower.
The results of this will be an increase in rent for any building that is not rent controlled. And generally, will increase rent across the board.
Landlords can raise the rents if their costs go up.
The second result will be less folks investing in housing, again, increasing the cost of housing.
