Zimmerman Attorney Mark O’Mara Named “National Criminal Trial Lawyer of 2013″

More acclaim for Orlando attorney Mark O'Mara. The National Trial Lawyers named him the national criminal trial lawyer of the year.

O'Mara last year represented George Zimmerman, who was acquitted in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin.

Gloria Allred received a life achievement award from the National Trial Lawyers group, which is meeting in Miami Beach. O'Mara picked up his prize Monday at the group's awards luncheon.
