This is a huge reason why I largely dismiss a lot of these claims. Somebody tries to claim that satellite reporting of temperatures, and I know they are largely made up with little to no basis in reality.

I actually did work at Hughes Satellite. Was actually during the time when Boeing bought them.

Now, are you actually capable of giving a response that is not just attacking the individual? Or care to explain how you really believe that data is correct and that there was really a temperature of 177.4 degrees achieved on the surface of our planet? Logically, a jump of over 40 degrees with no on-site data to back it up must be discarded as a flaw somewhere in the way the information was processed.
