Your problem is it isn't. The historical record is filled devastating storms that make the storms of the last century pale in comparison.
They have developed a habit in saying this is the worse it ever has been then they get corrected, they ignore the correction to continue their stupid we are in dire straits propaganda eventually even some of the thick heads finally realize they have been pushing this "tipping Points" crap for decades and nothing terrible ever happens to the planet.
This is how mentally deficient they are constantly ignoring OFFICIAL Tropical and Hurricane base databases that doesn't support their miserable barrage of warmest/alarmist lies.
====================
Storminess has not gone up, and there’s been no increase in hurricane strength or frequency … no “emergency” there.
First, the strength.
And here is the global hurricane frequency, both for all hurricanes and for the strongest hurricanes.

And here are the numbers of Pacific typhoons (hurricanes) from the Japanese Meteorological Agency.

Finally, here are the declining numbers of both strong and average cyclones (Southern Hemisphere hurricanes) in Australian waters, from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BOM).
