OP shouldn't have made an accusation like how the doctors "killed" her, not when he has zero evidence. And certainly not when he did not even read the article.

Just my humble 2 cents.

I only said that I didn’t agree that a statement was stupid. Nothing prickly about that. This is a short thread. Anyone can plainly see who got triggered, and it wasn’t me.

Well if we’re going to make wild accusations, accusing doctors of murder when the article has no info supporting that AND not even bother to read the article in the first place, we might as well make baseless allegations against anyone for any reason

He didn't mean in the sense that the law forbids him from saying it. He meant that the other dude shouldn't say things without proof, things that could harm someone's professional reputation.

If someone says that a doctor's action caused someone's death, and he doesn't have any evidence to support that, then in theory this is a case of defamation/slander. I don't know how things work in your country, but in my country, you can get sued for this.
