Trumpā€™s tax cuts are ā€˜stuck in the mudā€™ as Republicans split over spending

President Donald Trumpā€™s agenda is hitting speed bumps on Capitol Hill, as Republican infighting over spending levels threatens to halt a massive package of tax cuts, energy policy, healthcare and border security funds.

Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., initially said his conference would take the first steps this week to move the bill. But as the week progressed, Republican lawmakers realized they would miss that deadline, as fiscal hawks said they could not support the massive package without more spending cuts.

ā€œWeā€™re stuck in the mud,ā€ Rep. Bryon Donalds, R-Fla., told CNBC as he left a meeting of House Republicans on Wednesday. ā€œThereā€™s a lot of, what do they call it, paralysis of analysis? And I think at this point, we need to just make a clear decision.ā€

Making a "clear decision" can be difficult when making the wrong decision in trump's eyes leads to retribution. And since he changes his mind about his policy goals like a baby has a diaper changed it leaves House Repubs wondering what to do. All they know for sure is if Don doesn't like the outcome someone will be the subject of the blame game he so enjoys playing. Cuz, you know, he never takes responsibility for failure.

Republicans are incapable of sound, responsible governance.

Doesn't surprise me at all. The Republican Party is not a fiscally responsible party. They lie to the voters and say and they are.
One of the great cons of all time, and that's saying a lot during the error of trumpery, is the POT gives a damn about deficits.

Lemme guess, Bonehead. Because they are trying to be careful to look before they leap and to try their best to get things right the first time while making huge changes to fix the giant boondoggle that was the corrupt Biden Administration?

Lessee--- so far, Trump has gotten done about 700,000 times more in his first two weeks than Joe Bedpan ever got done collectively in his 50 years in politics, and half of that he probably plagiarized from other people.

Ummmm....
In case you haven't been keeping up with the news....the Democrats seem to be leading the Republicans with pork barrel spending.

Both parties are guilty. McConnell, Paul Rand, Thune and more are guilty....sure. but why is it EVERY Democrat leader past and present seem to be the recipients of USAID?

Funny shit coming from a Dimwinger Cult Member. Your Cult is squeeling like stuck pigs over the cuts already enacted by Trump.

Huh....actually doing something....

I wonder if there's any pork they are fighting for and against.

If they approve a nickel for USAID.....or Dept of Education they are toast.
