The optics of this are very bad, and it is a gamble that might backfire. Now the public knows they are hiding something and might get their head out of sports for a few minutes and do a little research. If Biden-Fauci Covid cabal had not blinked and just kept their cool a little longer, the whole thing would have been forgotten in a few months. Now people have a nagging suspicion that they've been played. You do not want this sleeping giant woken up. There are a hundred ways to get to someone who has been pardoned, which only covers federal laws not state.
I am so glad I was born at a time to watch this. Gimme that popcorn and I'll take a box of Starbursts too!
