You can't be president until you are 35. Is it time to have an upper limit on age?

What does society do with people, for whateverreason, end up old with no money and their ability to earn has passed them by?

If they are sent packing, they will save a lot more for old age. Same as you do for a Trumpet player who ruins his own trumpet.

Great in theory. It does not work in real life. Either the goverment helps them or you let them die.

Perhaps. However, we have lies endlessly now, tough to believe anything. Another history view has the foreign financiers at the time dividing us up and wanting a fiat currency to e entrenched at that time. And of course, in 1913 they got it.

Here I am almost 86 and quite lucid and intelligent. But I bring up Presidents age.
Presidents are banned from being president until they are 35. Why this age? I believe the founders believed at 35 you can take on hard tasks. Presidents do not become presidents by accident. They live with goals and plans all over the place they intend to try. Failed candidates got there by having clear plans. They failed but not because they lacked goals and plans.

How about dealing with advanced age? I know that waking up daily is wonderful. I would be stupid not to think of dying. I don't focus on this. But it is a fact of how humans end up at the end. They die.

Think of presidents who have died in office. To replace say FDR with Truman meant Truman was not up to speed on what FDR was. They put less trust in VPs than commonly believed.

Yes, it is time to put a limit on age. Some, of advanced age are fully capable, but most individuals have reduced cognitive and physical capabilities as they age. Som are capable of being Presidet before they are 35, but most are not. The founding fathers put a rule in because most are not ready to be President at 35. The same logic applies to a maximum age. What should that age be. I would say 70 or 75. We need more young people leading our country.
