'You ain't getting it here.' Louisiana store owner locks out Border Patrol agents

Hopefully other businesses follow his example. Knuckling under for these thugs is a terrible idea. People need to know their rights and stand up for them.

So do you think the illegal invader is going to pitch a tent in the store? Is the counterman going to keep the door locked in perpetuity? All the agents have to do is park along the road and wait. Locking the door only prolonged the inevitable.

Hmm...weren't you all arguing awhile back that a Colorado baker had to abide by public access laws when they refused to bake a cake for a gay wedding?

I guess that doesnt apply anymore, right?

Law Enforcement Officers, not their management, tend to support each other. An insult to one is an insult to all.
Don't kid yourself. If the Kenner Police Department gets an armed robbery call or alarm from Brother's Convenience, they will answer with the same alacrity, protecting the citizens of Kenner, Louisiana, in Jefferson Parish, they would, if it were from the Popeye's Fried chicken, down the street, where the CPB probably had to eat that day, if they were slumming. If it is a parking problem, they may not be as enthusiastic. Big deal.

It's almost as if some people see a difference between bigotry rooted in iron age mythology and the idea of not liking ICE agents illegally brutalizing people.

And for the 1,000th time that does not mean you are immune from law and can do anything you want
Indeed!!!

We've been telling you freaks that for decades!!

So public access laws are only applicable when its based on perception of impropriety?

You all said the baker HAD to ignore his religious views and participate in a gay wedding by baking a cake specially for the occasion, yet, a store and reject the business of ice agents becasue they dont like them enforcing immigration law.

And there hasnt been "brutality", if they resist arrest or try to flee, they are going to wrestle them to the ground to detain them. If you are a liberal and attack ice agents because you dont like what they are doing, expect them to respond to detaining you as well.

What makes you think there was an illegal in the store?
