Otherwise they risk coughing their heads clean off.

This ad is the kind of "reefer madness" extremism out there, which really isn't believable to children.

If it was based on reality, the possibility that someone's head would pop off would be a good deterrent to smoking, but kids are going to have a hard time believing it.

Even kids know that is a cartoon, and nobody's head really comes off. They know the Coyote doesn't really die when those ACME rockets hit him in the ass too.
