I think I learn something from the Bible almost every day. What I understand Paul to be saying is that death reigned from Adam and through the Mosiac Law of Moses which ended with Jesus's sacrifice on the cross. That ended the Mosaic Age and ushered in the age of grace.

Prior to Jesus's sacrifice, people were DEAD in the grave. Thereafter, people continued to live but in the spirit rather than the flesh.

Romans 5:12-14
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned— 13 for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. 14 Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.

Looks like death still reigns in a practical sense. Only 6% of people born are still alive. I am pretty sure, hell is well populated by people who professed Christianity, also.

You will live forever, just not in your physical body, thanks to Jesus.

6% of those born? I say 100% of those alive were born!

6% of the total humans born on earth since the beginning of human are still alive, and yes, 100% of those alive were born.

Guaranteed that percentage goes up as the population increases. :D

It is supposed to top out 10.3 Billion in the mid 2080s before declining, per AI generated response.
Yes, that should marginally increase the percentage.
100% of those born, will someday face their own mortality. At that point, they will face God regarding their spiritual existence for eternity, or they won't, or believe they won't. Depending on religious outlook, many will be disappointed in their fate, no matter what they profess to believe.

Actually you will live after your resurrection in a body of flesh and bones forever and ever. That is the gift of immortality from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our bodies will be immortal and not mortal.

Thank you for your nihilistic post.
Those that wear religion on their sleeve are usually the worst crooks.
Trust your gut.

I cannot agree, as a rule, though many are very poor examples of walking the walk of their professed faith.

The point in these verses is that God doesn't count, or impute sin to one where there is no law. Adam sinned under law. "Thou shalt not eat..."

But afterward, from Adam to Moses, there was no law. Yet all died anyway. Death reigned. Why? Not because they sinned, but because Adam sinned. All were guilty of Adam's sin and so died.

You should preface your responses with "Mormonism says..."

Which verse says we'll have "flesh and bones"?

We're all sinners and that's why we all need Jesus. Jesus came to save ALL people, especially sinners like you and me.

Makes sense. Thanks. I look forward to more sharing and learning with you and others here.

True.
Question: Are you a believer of once saved, always saved or that one can fall from grace?

Good question. I don't have a firm belief one way or the other. I do know that people can and do lose their faith, but were they actually "saved"?

Please know that I believe that the proverbial "Lake of Fire" (LOF) is only temporary and, ultimately, for the purpose of restoration. I believe that faithful Christians go straight to Heaven upon death. For that matter I suspect that many non-Christians also go straight to Heaven. The wicked, however, go through the LOF "process" for their own good in order for them to be able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
