China gives up on the one child policy. They are slowly coming to the understanding that forced abortion and government interference in procreation has disastrous side effects....quite aside from the fact that the entire world is disgusted by the human rights violations inherent in state sponsored and endorsed abortion....

Though they haven't totally come to their senses...they have moved to the "2 child per family" model of human rights violations:

"But human rights activists and critics said the loosening – which means the Communist party continues to control the size of Chinese families – did not go far enough.
“The state has no business regulating how many children people have,” said William Nee, a Hong Kong-based activist for Amnesty International.

“If China is serious about respecting human rights, the government should immediately end such invasive and punitive controls over people’s decisions to plan families and have children.”

one thing has zero relevance to the other.

I have no idea what she is talking about either. A post about relevance in a thread where the posts wasn't relevant was funny to me. lol

Was this in the FZ clown thread for a hot second? I am confused. lol

Its hardly a "progressive" policy. Quite the opposite, in fact.

But, it worked for what it was meant to do and now it needs to be repealed.

China is so screwy. I'll never understand why the idiot RWs/Repubs want to send all US business there. Probably because their owners tell them its good for us. And, I have to admit, Drumpf, Fiorina, R congress has done very well screwing over the US worker.
