I have been through these checkpoints multiple times, if you're not an American citizen you have to show documentation then they let you head on down the road. Know what's actually going on at these checkpoints before inserting your feet in your mouth.

Secondly a person that refuses to answer the questions can only be detained for "a reasonable amount of time" which isn't defined. I already brought up the logic of what a check point 100 miles away from the border accomplishes. The Supreme Court ruling is from 1976. The more videos like this are brought to light, and the more attention that is brought to this issue, the higher the likelihood it will be looked at again.
