I'm American I love the US. But the US is not perfect, there are racists that need to be called out. Did i touch a nerve?

I know and I've seen lot of whites that were agitated that there was a black man in the white house.
And for me who didn't grow up around racism, I still can't understand it, and also don't understand why would Obama have to be called black, since he's mixed and was brought up by white parent and white grand parents. This country is so backward it's sad.

There were 43 other presidents before him all white no questions asked. John McCain was not born here in America and ran with no one questioning his citizenship. It had everything to do with race.

That's why we had record amount of government dependents, record amount of debt, record amount of people out of the workforce, and a stagnant family income.

But I also understand the anxiety these statues represent to Black Americans & I have no problems with moving these statues into Civil War Museums. Furthermore, if they did that, they could not be symbolized or used as a rallyiing cry for White Supremacists & Neo Nazi's.
