Year Round Schools

It's a great idea. We are much less of an agrarian society today, which was the original reason for having summers off. Not that schools' primary purpose is to baby sit, but with most households having both parents working, this makes summers easier for families.





Plus, we can get those slacker teachers to actually earn their salaries. *ducks and runs away as fast as she can*

okay they had year around schools in blowing rock but it didnt work....apparently instead of one long break in the summer you get a bunch of weekly breaks...that confused the parents and made child care difficult...so they ended it

I wish that we had year round school around here so that my kids wouldn't get into drugs.
