Brandon saved the poor!

CAMARILLO, Calif. (CBS13/AP) — The average U.S. price of regular-grade gasoline fell 3 cents over past two weeks, to $3.46 per gallon.

It was the first decline in gas prices in 14 weeks, Lundberg said. The average price at the pump is $1.24 higher than it was one year ago.

yeah that omicron sure is a killer,, what is it?? thousands have died from it and its only been a week,,

at least it killed the delta on the way,,
It didn't kill Delta here....delta is still on fire here, hitting one state at a time....now its the North's turn.

Higher prices in Dallas too.

Yeah, it’s worked so well the past year!

Like socialism, THEY JUST DIDNT DO IT RIGHT!
It worked well enough, instead of the 3 million dead, if we did nothing and if we had just let everybody catch it, vs the 700 plus thousand we had...

The 2 day supply is gone, back up they go!

Wow. So the solution to inflation is the put people under house arrest.

How morally bankrupt.
This thread is about gas prices. My comment is simply common sense analysis of why I think gas prices will drop a little, instead of continuing to rise....

And simply, my summary is....supply is going to increase vs demand. Prices will fall.

Three million? Where did that number come from?
Trump administration....Early on, Trump said 'estimates were up to 2 million could die by the end of the year he was told (that was just 8 months from when he said it) , so if only 100,000 or 200,000 die, we're doing good.'. Extrapolated in to a year's time, that would be 3 million.

Plus we have 330 million residents, and the mortality rate was running almost 1% for those who caught it. If no measures were taken to mitigate virus spread and no vaccines and other medical treatments created like monoclonal antibodies, and everyone eventually caught covid, then the estimate would be 3.3 million dead....without consideration of variants being created that could be more deadly, or less deadly.

my 3 million estimate was slightly less.

Looks like you might be right.

So when did we start believing what Trump says? I thought all Trump did was lie and now you want to hold him up as an authority on the virus?

Gas will fall until March where it will begin to rise and by the end of summer the prices will be terrible again. Maybe then Biden will release a day's reserves and keep the prices in check.
