You don't need a huge budget to make these shorts, all you need is good uniforms and weapons, the set can be anywhere, and having decent actors playing their roles is the most important thing. Considering how poor acting is these days, what you see in these is either comparable acting or better acting. Here are some examples:

A young soldier named Karl Franke has been shipped to Courland and must prove himself to his fellow soldiers in his first mission.

The Allied invasion is just one day old and Manning and his comrades of the 101st Airborne Division are trying to find their deployment site. Meanwhile, young soldier Paul and his comrade Manfred are in the rear of the invasion front, searching for their unit. Both Paul and Manning are struggling with their situation. Each has his own reason for wanting to come back home.

May 1940, Sergeant Albert Kent and his beleaguered squad are retreating to Abbeville. Corporal Pony Moore begins to question Kent's decisions instigating a schism of leadership. Whilst both are insisting they are right, the German forces draw closer.
