Then one of these people with one of these vehicles guns her engine while obstructing you from your duty as another officer is asking her to step out of the vehicle as her girlfriend yells for her to take off, and you hear the engine rev, you see her front tires spin aimed right for you and the vehicle starts to lurch forward as you are standing right there in front of it, literally being shoved by it thrust into your legs,

Now, you have just that instant to decide:

• Is your instinct going to be that despite ALL OF THAT, you will still just trust that she isn't starting to and intending to run you over, hit you at least, injure you seriously at the very least if she really connects in any way--- never mind your responsibility towards any threat she may be to others, and trust your life on the whim that she won't hit you, run you over, intend to hit you after following you and acting so very hostile---

She was probably going about 10-15 mph when she hit the officer and had he not been alert and jumped back or had he slipped on the ice and fallen, this Good lady very likely would have run him over.

OK even if you claim that she stomped on the acceleration pedal wheels were pointed straight at him at some point in time, what would you estimate the speed of the vehicle to be at that exact moment in time?
