I'm sorry, but I have to say this. We need a time limit for women who accuse men of sexual assault from the event until it is reported. This incident was two years ago, and it took this long for her to remember in order to try and derail his campaign for governor of California. She obviously was not that upset! I think Swalwell is absolute scum, but even scum has some expectation of due process, which he can't get two years after the fact.

They do not have a statute of limitations and people are free to bring up possible bogus charges forever. People move, people lose contact, and witnesses get old, sick, senile, and die.

My wife's best friend married my best friend 26 years ago, and I realized recently when my wife and I went on a cruise with them that I have zero memory of their wedding, even though I was there! Not one bit of it! I have seen pictures from the wedding with me in attendance, but I have no memory of it! How would I be a witness to events I can no longer remember?

I understand the desire for Swalwell to get what is coming to him, if he is guilty, and I would bet he is, but I am not going to convict without some solid evidence. With what you have so far, you better hope someone like me is not on the jury. Trust, but verify!

That would be a valid theory except no Democrats are going to make it to the general with two Republicans leading. Swalwell was behind in third, but the leading Democrat. The Dems should have thinned out someone like Poter or one of the lesser-known candidates. Their jungle primary system is coming back to bite them in the ass! If a Republican wins, want to bet they switch back to party primaries?

The primary election is June 2nd. That determines who runs in November. Unless a Democrat beats either Hilton or Bianco, out in the primary, they will be against each other. The other Dems would all have to pledge their support to Steyer and drop out and that's not likely. Unless they do, there will be a Republican governor.

This is actually very significant people. Bragg has largely been marginalized as a political party hack. If this is true such a thing is noteworthy and needs to be seen for the honest effort that it is. I'm having a lot of difficulty seeing it frankly however if it is true I have to wonder what he did to earn the ire of his political bedmates. If that's not the issue then I think credit should be recognized where credit is due.
