I have never understood why sea vessels are not run by steam.
I mean, seriously.
Your vessel is in WATER. A FREE SOURCE OF ENERGY.
All you need is a powerhouse hydro engine.
Doesn't matter if its a war ship, submarine, exploration ship, etc................
Steam is the way to go.
Clean, perfectly safe, ecologically perfect for use without toxic chemicals, no having to stay docked for a day or a week to get refueled.
Your fuel is ALL AROUND YOU!!!
They've had hydro engines since the 60s, and even today, they can make hydro engines small enough to put into sports cars!!!!!
