They would be very distraught at how much of society now gravitates around the Federal Government. But they themselves encouraged revolutions every once in a while, as the natural tendency of a State is to create a power structure in which the elites can build their influence and wealth around. And that power structure is now very entrenched around the Federal Government.

However, I think they would be thrilled to discover air conditioning. ;)

They fought for that federal government to have the power to tax! ;) Times change and I think they'd be proud at America being the center of power on this planet.

Stop hating on America. Many like Ben Franklin would love how far we have advanced in science. Washington, Adams and many others supported investing infrastructure and science!

Our Founding Fathers would be horrified to see how the Constitution has been interpreted and acted upon by activists. They would be pulling their hair out, saying, "This is not what we meant!:

If they meant for things to stay just the way they were in the beginning they would not have built in so many mechanisms to adapt our form of government to changing times. They were 18th century white men, they would be horrified that black people and women can vote and hold office, maybe they were republicans at heart.

Would the founding fathers be proud of America today?

Hell yes....

We helped win two great wars, became a super power, a military second to none.

We got rid of slavery, got women the right to vote...

We invented a shit load of technology..

We still have conservatives and liberals arguing...

The founding fathers of our country are proud as hell in their graves

No...they'd be very disappointed in us..
This nation and the system they created has been infiltrated and corrupted by special interests and the racially aggrieved.

They would find both political extremes sickening. But especially the right-extreme who wants to make us into a theocracy.

No, but not for the reasons most think. They'd be pissed we are still using some old hack that they came up with instead being men and creating our own damn government, that worked for us today, not them 230 years ago. They fought a war and we can't even be bothered to think for ourselves.

You obviously know zero about them, pretty much your standard on any subject. That government provides our retirements, sets wages and benefits, provides our health care, redistributes money, charges an income tax, controls intrastate commerce, that they'd be OK with.

Give me an example of something that is being seriously proposed to turn us into a "theocracy."

They would sent the U. S. Army down to the border to stop the Mexican Invasion;

They would never let another Muslim into this country;

They would ask Liberia to come get Detroit, Chicago, and Baltimore;

They would try Barack Obama for Treason; and

They would join up with Israel to deal with Iran BEFORE they got nuclear weapons, instead of kicking the can down the road....the cowardly thing...and letting others deal with them AFTER they have nuclear weapons.

1. There wouldn't be a standing arm, we aren't in a war they would have fought in.
2. They knew the Muslims and weren't worried.
3. They helped bring the ******* here.
4. A black man wasn't allowed to vote, let alone run for office.
5. They didn't care for Jews, and they let you keep arms so they sure as hell wouldn't have worried about another nation on the other side of the fucking planet having them.

First, they would be scared and confused by this new technological world, never expecting technology would come this far. Then, they would try to arrest and hang the first black man they saw with a white woman, and when we calmly explain the slaves are free and blacks are equal now, Jefferson would punch the speaker right in the jaw.

Ben Franklin would ask where he could find a prostitute and we would explain prostitution is illegal and he'd be like "nooooooooooo".

And then we would give them our gratitude for establishing the government of today. To which Jefferson would say " still!? Your still using that!? In THIS world!?" Gestures around at the skyscrapers. "I said every GENERATION should have a revolution, we didn't plan for this!"

Then they'd be like wait, but at least the citizenry must be well educated right? Incredible advances must make education wonderful today right? Then they'd ask random person A, B and C about our government, the electoral college, and policies of today. After not being able to answer many questions or just giving stupid answers they would all crawl back into their graves

"You should have left us in the ground..."

Our founding fathers would be aghast at how the firewalls of government have been burnt down. It was supposed to be a large group that issued in massive change, not one or two people.

They would also be extremely pissed with congress for surrendering power that it had. They would surely ask them "if you didn't want the power we bestowed upon you, then why not resign?"

Wrong. We were broke and a new helped finance the revolution. Jefferson had a copy of the koran to study their vile behavior from the barbary

Wrong, Jefferson kept a copy of the koran tonstudy their vile behavior. They were our enemies back then. Also, our revolution, in part, was funded by a jew, because we were broke and were about done.

Islam Versus the United States

Sorry bro, but you can't revise history when the facts are out there.
