Would Ryan Gosling be a good Indiana Jones?

You would have to clean out Disney first, get rid of the leftist morons who have wrecked all of these franchises, but would Ryan Gosling be a good Indiana Jones? He is a little older than Harrison Ford was when he first did Jones. He can do action, he might be able to look like a College Professor........

On a side note....can Indiana Jones get past the fact that according to the timeline....he had sex with Marion Ravenwood when she was ....15-16?

So the author and screenwriter that wrote "The Martian" starring Matt Damon that nearly everyone likes teamed up together to give us "Hail Mary".

Hail Mary is getting great reviews and doing well at the box office.

I saw it last night with my wife and we both loved it. We also both read the book. Wife liked the movie better. It's one of my favorite recent books so I dont know that I can say "better" than the book but I did love the movie as much.

One of the things the old folks on this board will like is the minimal use of CGI and...

I liked the story of their son, but that timeline just sort of disappeared when Shia LaBeouf went off the deep end.

The reaction to the new movie made me think about him as Jones. I think Indiana Jones, Han Solo, should be like James Bond....replaced every 10 years or so with a new actor.

Yeah....Raiders of the Lost Arc was on the weekend before last, and I saw the scene in the Tibetan bar. She tells him she was just a child....I thought that was an odd thing to say. I punched in the numbers on Grok and another engine....and the timeline came back she was likely 15 and he would have been in his mid 20s.

George Lucas is a horrible writer.

Interesting. I think only James Bond has done it. Sherlock Holmes a bit. But I cant think of a non-book character that has been replaced well. Funny enough Harrison Ford replaced Alec Baldwin as Jack Ryan... I thought Alecs portrayal was great. Harrison Played himself which is always good though.
