Worst drought on record lowers Amazon rivers to all-time lows

This thread persuaded me to do a study of the Amazon River. Here is discussed the river runs dry. This is not true. It talks about the part of the river that feeds it. And it is not dry. And man is not in charge of climate. Say he could be in charge of climate. This would include him being in charge of weather. And he has no control over that or Climate.

Lies get told about the Amazon. This river is the river with the extreme high flows. And the main problem discussed is deforestation. This does prevent as much CO2 from being collected by the forests but does not put a stop to it at all.

No you do not as every example you asked about for "controlling the climate" were examples of specific weather events, not the climate.

And then you double down on your ignorance. You are so much fun.

I never claimed anything different, you are the only one to make such a claim.

And again, I will not shut the fuck up because the climate is changing and mankind needs to prepare for that.

But we cannot because of stupid morons like you that do not know the difference between weather and the climate and want to make the whole damn thing political.
You have made the claim that man could affect climate. That IS controlling it.

So Trump isn't really for clean air and water. Or, who isn't? But are his policies pro clean air and water? Nope.

You guys picked a really bad candidate.
This is not what presidents do. They do their thing after the Congress does theirs. In the case of illegal migrants, both Harris and Biden opened the border. The congress tried to stop them passing HR 2 and guess what Democrats did in the Senate? They stopped it.

Bad choice for president who spreads lies about man made climate change.

You spread lies.
No, Trump and right wing media spread lies. Remember you anti vaxers in 2021?

5 right-wing radio hosts have died of Covid-19 since early August after each previously cast doubt on the safety of vaccines or fought against mask mandates and other public health initiatives.

You probably don't even know 5 anti vax right wing radio hosts died of covid because they weren't vaccinated and weren't wearing masks or social distancing. The biggest mistake was not getting vaccinated. YOU were lied to and in turn lied. Just like global warming

In Trump's debate against Biden all he did was lie and he won.
You came here spreading lies the river Amazon dried up.

Buddy you are talking at a man that has all the vaccinations Trump was able to get to us all.
Biden got vaccinated. Did he keep catching CV19? I know for a fact he keeps getting it.

Earthcam is a app that has live webcams all over the world. Including the Amazon river.

It's still there.
Dick faces show us what they want to have us see. If a 50 ft water depth is not enough for them that far up the Amazon River, let them pee in the river for all of us.

Not me. But I'll do a quick search on the subject and see what I find. It's easy to do. You can do it too. Show me what you find. Here's what I found

Water levels in many of the rivers in the Amazon basin have reached their lowest on record amid a continuing drought, the Brazilian Geological Service (SGB) says.

The Madeira river, a major tributary to the Amazon, had fallen to just 48cm in the city of Porto Velho on Tuesday, down from an average of 3.32m for this day, official data showed.

The Solimões river has also fallen to its lowest level on record in Tabatinga, on Brazil's border with Colombia.

Brazil's natural disaster monitoring agency Cemaden has described the current drought as the "most intense and widespread" it has ever recorded.

That is not what I said in the OP. It is not my fault you have the reading level of a 2nd grader.

The title of the thread is "Amazon Rivers"

There are over 1000 tributaries which feed into and out of the Amazon river.

The picture in the OP was of the Solimões River, it says so right there in the OP.

Perhaps you should find a 4th grader to read the OP to you so that you will not be so confused.

Here are Amazon facts you will love.

What are 5 facts about the Amazon river?

1) The Amazon River is the second-longest river in the world, after the Nile.
2) The Amazon River was named after the Amazons, warrior women of Greek mythology.
3) The Amazon River is a freshwater river.
4) The Amazon River is fed by more than 1000 sources
5) The Amazon Rainforest surrounds a large section of the Amazon River and is home to about 1/3 of the Earth's species.

Where is the Amazon located exactly?

The Amazon River's complex tributary system spans approximately one-third of the South American continent. The river is fed by more than 1000 sources, originating in Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, and Bolivia. The Amazon River's mouth is in Brazil, and its farthest source is in Peru.

How wide and deep is the Amazon river?

The width and depth of the Amazon River vary by season. In the dry season, the average width of the Amazon is between two and six miles. When the river floods in the wet season, the widest parts can reach 30 miles in width. The depth varies from 66 to 164 feet.

Seems pretty damned deep for my two bits worth.
