If you don't understand basic math, you don't understand human overpopulation.

We are in a stage 1 of human overpopulation, have been for about 20 years, the land based fresh water shortages caused by too many humans consuming too much finite fresh water. That is causing the fires.

Every time we push nature back further and consume its land and water, we shrink the available sources of food.



It all starts with the idiocy of the religious, who parrot "there is no overpopulation" because their "faith leaders" just want more followers and don't care about anything else.... except ISRAEL.

The world food supply has been under increasing pressure for years. Turning farmland into homes and strip malls and offices or manufacturing plants, doesn't leave alot of room for food production for the increasing population.

Grow a garden, raise a few chickens or other livestock if you have the room and while it's not a perfect answer, it does help

1970 was about the sweet spot for the US population.....Plenty of good food and plenty to share.

You increase the population of the US by 135 million in 50-odd years and you get what you get.
