They were debating it when she left after eight hours. The scenario sounds crazy.
The reality of the poor, especially poor minorities is that hospital emergency rooms are primary care providers. The waits are long because the ER is treating runny noses, headaches, cuts and bruises. You can open 100 free clinics and the poor will still use the ER.

Well, that does it. Watts, regardless of the stress she was in from the miscarriage, committed a crime. Funny how someone with an open mind can change their opinion to suit the facts.

Her punishment, if any, should be slight. She had no intention to break the law. Her state of mind should excuse her.

There really should be some education given to the public as to protocol in the event of a death.

How about ending the protocols? How about disempowering those who make such intrusive laws and corporate rules, too? "My way or the highway" proves that their way is the low way.
