The victim being transgendered really wasn't at issue here. They probably listed his sexual orientation because hey.............sensationalism sells.

The main issue was the fact that he was black, and the two women didn't want to sit next to a black person. Race, not sexuality was the driving force of this attack.

And yeah.............it's NOT national news. Why? A random attack is worthy of local news, but not national.

I mean shoot...............over the past 3 days, Amarillo has had a road rage shooting (this morning), a woman got ran over and killed (this afternoon), and there was a shooting last night.

None of those stories made national news.
