It is not their oil that is the problem, it is them right now only accepting dollars for their oil, meaning other countries have to buy our dollars, which is a boon for the US. Since we are now production more of our own and importing less, China is now the world's largest importer of oil and they are pushing to replace the dollar with the RMB, and if that happens our dollar will plummet and we will be fucked.
