That's your interpretation of what happened, based on what, a few headlines and your overwhelming need to believe a narrative? You do like to just state something as if it was fact when you weren't there and are only going off an opinion written by someone else who also wasn't there. The question you are carefully avoiding is, why bring a knife to a school function? He should have been summarily kicked out of the stadium for that alone. Like I said, I won't be very worried about it either way. If he can make a better case and get a reduced sentence, good, he got a better deal. If he cannot and stays in prison the entire length of this sentence, so be it, he couldn't make a stronger case for leniency or a reduced sentence. Either way, I'm not going to be outraged. I hate to tell you this, but it's up to the attorneys to decide the makeup of the jury, and they always try to stack it with people they think will favor their case, one way or the other. In this case, the defense attorney would have to go along with the prosecution to keep black jurors off it. Also, the jury doesn't decide what charges they can consider. Are you sure you know what you're doing here?

No, you said the jury was racist but you don't know that. You're not getting away with your usual attempts at deflection on this one. You made an assumptive, unsubstantiated claim about the moral character of the white jurors. You lied.

As for the black jurors, the ones they had in the jury pool were biased and admitted they were. You can't have someone on a jury who admits he will not vote guilty no matter what. That's not justice.

Something else you're missing - which is not surprising - is that the potential black jurors had a chance to be on the jury but they all blew it. They could have been selected to make sure the young black man got a fair trial and was judged fairly but they chose not to with their responses.

The jury was allowed to consider self-defense, the ultimate "lesser charge". They denied the claim and Anthony didn't even have the cojones the testify and try to convince the jury it was self-defense.
