He did flee the scene. It's on the videos. He threw the knife up into teh vacant bleachers and ran doagonally down and away, only slowing after he had evaded the inital pursuit when he tried ot blend into the crowd but the cops caught him.

IF it gets retried, and that is a big if, the verdict will be the same since the evidence and over twenty witnesses are clear about what happened. The only thing blocking a second conviction would be someone like you lying to get on the jury and refusing to convict. In that case, I would hope the other eleven jurors would hold out for a hung jury and another retrial.
