I don't know about you, but I don't want to be forced to pay for private health insurance.
If the Dems include the public option in reconciliation, then I'm for the bill. But if there's a mandate that we all buy insurance, and no public option, then I am vehemently against it.
Public option IS the compromise. But if that's out, and state single-payer option is out, and Medicare buy-in is out, what we have left is an empty shell of a bill that forces us into buying health insurance just for being alive.
The dems need to understand that there is a fine line between compromise, and compromised.
