No, he will not run for president...You can never tell with politicians, of course, but Pence is beginning to look like he's thinking about it:
Pence fuels speculation of 2024 presidential bid
Former Vice President Mike Pence’s visit to New Hampshire last week and stops in other high-profile early primary states are fueling speculation about a potential 2024 presidential run — and q…thehill.com
I can think of only three reasons he may do this:
He's completely delusional
The egos and self-importance of politicians, especially on the national level, is such that they can talk themselves into anything. Plus, they are all pushed and enabled by hangers-on who have their own professional agendas by being part of it. But in reality, this party belongs to one guy, lock, stock and barrel, and it ain't Pence. And, TWO THIRDS OF THE PARTY THINKS HE DROPPED THE BALL on January 6, because THEY are delusional.
He thinks Trump may not run
The only argument for Trump not running is that he doesn't want to take the chance of losing again. But personally, I'm not buying that. He already has a built-in excuse -- the election was rigged -- that two thirds of the party believes down to their bones. So in that way, he literally has nothing to lose. At worst, he'll be the great victimized President. But still, Pence is delusional to think he could beat someone like DeSantis or another Trumpster.
He feels duty-bound
This one seems interesting, if not very likely. I wonder what it would mean if he ran even if Trump runs. I suppose there's a slight possibility that he learned what a menace that Trump and Trumpism are to this country and would be willing to spill the beans on everything he knows. Which would be about two tons. No doubt he could potentially sink Trump, far more effectively than anyone else, if he decided he had to for the sake of the country.
Thoughts? Ideas?
People who believe Trump will go to prison also believe there is a tooth fairy too....it's sadTrump will never go to prison. I promise he will die a rich and comfortable man.
Well if Trump and Hillary are above the law, why not Pence? He will be spending time in prison unless he is above the law.
I think it already HAS. Despite all the nonsense we've seen and heard about Trump supporters being "cult" members, his support is less about personal devotion to the man than it is a desire to save the nation we grew up in and love. The Left, by every measurable standard has torn this nation's cohesiveness to tatters and are presiding over the total fall of America. MILLIONS of us believe this and the only other option we can see is to elect the man who promised to stop that decline, then followed through on his promises to the extent he was allowed to do.I think there's a possibility that the establishment Republicans will turn on him completely if that happens. Trump winning again would be quite the spectacle. I think some powerful people will try to talk him out of it. It could also tear the GOP in half.
Delusional....he just can't believe the 4 years of submission and ass kissing of Trump, could end with him as the most hated republican out there by Trump and his followers....?You can never tell with politicians, of course, but Pence is beginning to look like he's thinking about it:

I think she's referring to Trump. Many of these people are still hanging on to the hope that Trump will be convicted and imprisoned for some crime against someone. It's kind of pathetic, really. The only way he doesn't run is if it's his choice not to. No one on the Left can stop him and those with intelligence understand their jeopardy. It's why they're becoming increasingly shrill about him. It will only ramp up from here.Well if Trump and Hillary are above the law, why not Pence?
I would marvel if any of the political big wigs get arrested for anything.I think she's referring to Trump. The Bush era neo-cons aka establishment swamp rats are the Anyone-But-Trump partyI imagine the Bush era neo-cons will start pushing Haley again at some point. Now there's a disaster just waiting to happen.
Bawahahahahahahhahaa @ GabbardEstablishment wingers had better pray to their lucky stars that Rand and Gabbard don't team up and make a run.
Because if that happens both sides of the party-of-one are screwed. It could very well come down to playing a waiting game with Trump to see what he's gonna do. Serious people aren't particularly interested in joining in on a circus, to be honest.
So far it's only been explored on the down low. But make no mistake. It has been explored. Is it still being expored? Hey, my name's muffin, I dunno nuffin...
Yeah, it's very difficult to believe that would happen.People who believe Trump will go to prison also believe there is a tooth fairy too....it's sad
Or maybe they are like the "Lock Her Up" crowd...they know it will never happen but it makes them feel better to pretend
You would think. That would be a fools errand on his part. He would get castigated from all sides. If he runs it will be straight into a wall...

The existing Republican party before Trump was just the other half of the DC Uniparty and it's time is ending one way, or another.
