It would be pretty freaking amazing to see a former GOP Presidential candidate do this, but the purists in the party are sure asking for it.

Sure, if he wants to guarantee he won't be re-elected in Utah. Utah is a deeply red state, and Trump has a higher approval rating in Utah than Mitt.

Well I guess you get half of the halfassed asshole. He voted guilty on article 1 and not guilty on article 2. In any case you ain't getting much because when his term is up, his ass is history. He goes down in the 2024 election so till then he sticks around while Trump shoves pins into his Mitt Romney voodoo doll.

Pierre has made himself an outcast. The Dems aren't going to suddenly respect him now that he tried to split the baby and vote Guilty on 1, and Not Guilty on 2. Nobody trusts a man who tries to make everyone happy by splitting the difference.
Romney is a people pleaser. He has always wanted to be liked by the "cool" crowd. Even after being accused of tying his dog to the top of his car and driving cross country, leaving employees to die without health insurance, sexism, racism among other charges, he continues to look for Liberal approval. He will get it for a short time, but will never realize they are all laughing at him behind his back, and eventually to his face. I feel bad for Mitt in a way. He has been played for a fool so many times. I voted for him twice before, but would never do so again.

Their importance arose only because of the complete idiots they ran against, Gore and Obama.
McCain got the nom because it was "his turn". He was a lousy pick, but superior to Obama.
Frankly, I never did understand why they put Plastic Mitt as front man.
