Will Killers or Gang Bangers follow gun control laws?

Most of them are either stolen, bought from someone else who stole them or bought them, or are borrowed or taken from family members.
Part of the point of reducing the number of guns in this country is exactly this. The less guns legally owned, the less are available to beg, borrow or steal from others. The vast majority of guns used in crimes are not legally owned, but were legally purchased once in their histories. I believe if a gun is stolen from you and you don't report it, or if you transfer a gun illegally, you should be held equally responsible for any any crime committed with it. That would slow things down.

So, like most liberals you are ready to indict the innocent in your zeal to disarm law abiding citizens based on some Utopian model that can and will never exist.

Just as they don't follow laws prohibiting murder.

That some might not follow a given law doesn't warrant not enacting that law.

The laws that were made for murder were designed to PUNISH the perpetrator, not to prevent the murders. A law directed and the sole purpose of which is to CONTROL psychopaths is a failure from the get go!

IF demand for it is high, you can buy it illegally quite easily. That is where MOST gang bangers get their illegal guns, the black market.

But if they're guilty of a felony and can't go to Armslist or any of a dozen other sites or a gun show in around 22 states and buy from an unlicensed seller .. it will make it tougher on them to find their preferred implement of destruction.

If it's already so hard for them to obtain firearms in Chicago for example, why are there so many shootings there? You do know that the majority of firearms that criminals commit an offense with, are not purchased legally, right?

As for illicit drugs - the primary problem is big pharma who spent billions flooding the market and the physicians who prescribed them.

Unfortunately background checks are not going to stop a madman who is intent on murdering a bunch of people. They only stop those who would bother to go through them.

Yea because the market is flooded with 20 round clips. Stop making them. No one is making these. If you can't buy them you won't use them. Show me one gun where the killer manufactured 25 round cartridges because he could only buy 20. It doesn't happen. You are just being unreasonable. You are in chrisl mode. But common sense says if gun manufacturers stop making 20 round clips in 20 years the black market won't have any for sale.
