Will Democrats Ever Again Nominate a Woman for President?

Not with Big Mike the 2028 favorite...

First dems need to figure out what a woman is
And a black.

Good point!

Maybe next election, Gavin Newsom can ID as a black woman like Kamala did and accuse anyone who opposes him of mysogyny and racism.

Don’t put it past him

Thats a whole lot of projecting. Your making things up to cover the fact, that the Democrats ran out a bad candidate.

The last time she was in a primary, what happened?
Trump beat two women and lost to a white man

Kinda says a lot

I’ll believe it when it happens.

Trump was an absolutely terrible candidate, and he was still able to beat two female candidates in an election where female reproductive rights were on the line.

What’s going to happen the next time a woman goes up against a sensible male in an election that isn’t centered on reproductive rights?
"Reproductive rights" is a misnomer.

Im not as cynical. Personally I would vote for a woman for president if she was a strong one.

Trump was in some ways a bad candidate, but his message still resonated. HE simply has the "it" factor,
while Kamala was constantly trying to manufacure it.
I don’t disagree. But I still think it’s important to note that Republicans have never ran anyone who isn’t a straight white male.

Democrats ran two women and they both lost.

Women make up more than 50% of our population and they’re 0% of our Presidents. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.

It says that the Dems need to run better female candidates if having a woman become president is their focus.

Their focus should actually be just running the best candidate regardless of sex, but they can't escape identity politics.

I know plenty of women that are very happy that the chief of staff for the trump admin is a woman

Republicans just tend to actually be successful at putting women in positions of authority
Anyone vote for Chief of Staff?

No?

Oh

The majority of politicians in general are white males, so that helps with the probability of running one for the highest office. When women are 50% of officeholders, you might see different candidates running for president.

But again, race and sex should matter far less than the policies and competency of the candidate.

“Abortion”, then.

An issue that the majority of women support.
Maybe so, but the majority of women also support some restrictions on it. Many activists push the angle of elective abortions up to birth, but the majority of women believe restrictions should apply to the last trimester.
