He is on their side, why else would he allow them into the country basically with no background checks?

I would really like to know. On the first day on the job does the President get a briefing about what is really going on behind our curtain or do they give him a load of BS and keep feeding him for four more years? My guess would be for the most part they give him the actual picture but back that up with a bunch of BS rational. Supposedly the Bush administration pressured the intelligence community to provide bias analysis leading up to the invasion into Iraq but that seems like a bit of a half truth, at best.
