Correct. Derrick Bird was the guy who committed Cumbria's mass shooting in the UK. He held shot gun licence since the 70's, he was a good guy. The main speculation was he fell out with his brother and solicitor, due to his father's will. Plus a tax investigation. So he turned bad guy, killed his brother and 11 others, before killing himself.

There was talk about his medical background changing that raised concerns, so your medical records are now scrutinized for your licence. His doctor should have alerted authorities, but patient confidentiality prevented this.
