Briefly and, guess what? Everyone believed it and it died. Funny how that didn't happen with Obama despite an equally valid birth certificate. What is the difference between the two men? Skin color?

I think "you're racist" gets used way too much. But sometimes it fits. And the different ways McCain and Obama were treated speaks volumes imo.

It's absolutely factual. He has a valid birth certificate stating he was. If we start questioning that, then we should question everyone's.

No. What we know is he was born in Hawaii to an American mother and a Kenyan Father and raised by mom’s family in the US except when his mom took possession of him and moved him to Indonesia or whatever. So nothing we’ve said is racist. He is black and has heritage in Kenya
I would disagree on that, but we have different perspectives.

1. His own booklet describes him as being from Kenya and that is a whopper of a mistake that would be hard to overlook when it states that on the cover....
2. A family remember his birth in Kenya....
3. his social security number matched some dead soul from Connecticut where Obama never stepped foot in the state....
4..The governor of Hawaii determined to show Obama's birth certificate at first declared, there was no birth certificate, but instead a note in its place, but later said he found the certificate that was not authentic...no doctor's signature and the title of the document was inaccurate.
5. his wife once inadvertently said the Obama was in his "homeland" while visiting the state...

I agree with so-called liberals that it WAS "racist" to claim that Senator Barack Obama was born in Kenya.
In 2008, the idea of an African American President was beyond the imagination of most Americans. Oh, sure, there might be one in the future, but surely not so soon.
So when people realized that Senator Obama actually might be the Dem candidate and when they saw the adoring crowds greeting him, some hoped to prevent his being nominated by saying that he was born outside the United States.
In other words, it was a "racist" act in the sense that many people did not want a President of his "race."
I, of course, do not know where he was born.
But I DO know one thing: If it had been proved that he was born abroad, he would have been allowed to finish our his term. There was no way that the Establishment would have dared oust the first African American President.
