Why Republicans (RINO's) hate Thomas Massie

What do you mean "nope"? Did you think was serious about that too?

Did you also think like I once did, that Trump was going to go after fraud and nation ending financial abuse of the American taxpayer?

Well, arguably, he did "go after fraud". ;)

I means he ran on promises to end the war in Ukraine and pledged not to start new wars.

He could and should have ended Ukraine last January.

I realized that everything makes sense when I preface it with "If Trump is really serious about this..."

Fraud?

Yes, Trump and his team are going after fraud.

A new White House anti-fraud task force that will search for welfare abuses in California and other states is in the final stages of planning by the vice president and the head of an independent consumer protection agency, multiple sources briefed on the plans told CBS News.

President Trump intends to sign an executive order in coming days naming Vice President JD Vance as chairman of the task force, a move that's meant to signal the importance of the effort to the president.

This week, the Trump administration dispatched federal officers to Minnesota amid renewed concerns over fraud. The deployment comes after right-wing influencer Nick Shirley posted a video on YouTube last week claiming without proof that day care centers operated by Somali residents in Minneapolis had misappropriated more than $100 million.

In response, FBI Director Kash Patel wrote on X his agency was already investigating and that -- quote -- "This is just the tip of a very large iceberg." And Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem posted this video yesterday of agents on the ground in Minneapolis.

A very successful term so far!

Settlements and judgments under the False Claims Act exceeded $6.8 billion in the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2025, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and Assistant Attorney General Brett A. Shumate, head of the Justice Department’s Civil Division, announced today. That amount is the highest in a single year in the history of the False Claims Act. This year, whistleblowers filed 1,297 qui tam lawsuits, the highest number in a single year, and the government opened 401 investigations, including matters announced as Administration policy objectives. Settlements and judgments since 1986, when Congress substantially strengthened the civil False Claims Act, now total more than $85 billion.

“Stopping rampant fraud is a top priority, and this record-breaking year proves the False Claims Act remains one of the government’s most powerful weapons against fraud,” said Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. “We will continue to aggressively deploy it to protect taxpayer dollars and hold all fraudsters accountable.”

“The achievements announced today reflect exemplary work by the Department’s dedicated employees to investigate and litigate cases involving fraud against the government and to ensure that America’s taxpayer dollars are used for their intended purpose,” said Assistant Attorney General Brett A. Shumate of the Justice Department’s Civil Division. “The False Claims Act and its whistleblower provisions are crucial tools for ensuring that public funds are spent properly and in the public interest.”

I'll bite, how?

You won't like it, neither would our amazing MIC. Trump could have dictated any peace terms he wanted, he's Luca Brasi but he acted like Fredo

I would have said: Russia gets all of Donbass and Crimea, Ukraine stays Neutral and the USA and Ukraine sign an alliance with Russia on natural resources. Trump could have threatened to suspend ALL aid and logistic support

Zelensky's Owners would have had a fit because they're making a bloody fortune on the war....but it useless. It would never happen under Trump. Trump acts like he's a man under orders as well. It explains a lot of his walking back his grand and great and transformational promises

The EU is being bled dry and liquidated by this "war", this charade. That's the real point here!

That could work. So could many other outlines of a deal.

If . . .

In order to obtain a favorable deal, you have to be able to walk away from an unfavorable deal. Otherwise, why would they give you a favorable deal.

Suppose, in your scenario, Russia says, "no, we will decide how much of Ukraine is to be ours," and Ukraine says, "No, Russia gets nothing that would reward their invasion," and NATO says, "Ukraine needs to join NATO, so this doesn't keep happening."

What then?

I dont watch news. But I know he and Rand crow about fraud and waste yet nearly $1T per year they often sign off on it as it keeps going on?

Somebodies lying? Twatter says Masie is lying that he never promised 20 names he knows .//

Board Stain act a high and mighty as they hide in a minor thread pretending they don't see the ELEPHANTS in the room in all the other threads. Turns my gut. Need a Rloaids up in here!!!!

Even when they do not sign off on it and make a show out of not joining in the furtherance of fraud and waste, neither one of them has ever presented an example balanced budget with no fraud and waste.

Nor have they ever been a critical vote that held up a budget and forced a shutdown. They vote against budgets, knowing they will pass. Then they get to tell their Kentucky constituents how they are really libertarian and have no responsibility for any complaints they have about Washington.

Don't get me wrong. Either one of them is better than a Democrat or "not Democrat." But Trump was overwhelmingly elected president to fix the worst excesses of the Autopen administration. He's doing a phenomenal job at that just over one year into his second term. So, their carping and sniping in order to play to the media makes them look petty.

15th post
The thread is on Massie whom I probably like? But I don't follow any of it. I just read a few sites-posts. I guess he started a war against Trump? I don't like that?

Back to YT and his Epstien crush***

Let me get this straight:

1. Epstein committed the majority of his crimes during the Clinton and Obama administrations.

2. The first arrest and public knowledge of his predilection for 15 year old girls was handled during the Bush investigation.

3. He was only arrested by the Feds during the first Trump administration.

4. Then the Biden administration did nothing about any of the evidence that was found. Prosecuted no one. Charged no one.

Now that it’s Trump’s second administration and files were released (1) most of which are not new evidence and were known to investigators for years (2) emails that don’t prove specific crimes in any court of law on the planet (3) Epstein is dead so no leverage to coerce any possible co-conspirators (4) no new victims came forward (5) statute of limitations have lapsed.

But morons like Massie and others want to blame this on Trump?

Okay lol.

****What can anyone do? Arrest the minister of France 30 yrs after?

And when both Putin and Zelenski said "**** You?"

Ukraine joining NATO is what lit the fuse, so that’s a No

Russia, because they’re smart, wants nothing to do with anything West of the Dneiper.

Ukraine is just not a real country anymore, they’re an LLC, a holding company for whoever owns the rights to what’s left.
